This is an old review I wrote for another site

New York is quite well known for their Rieslings so I had fairly high hopes for this wine and I was thankfully not disappointed by it one bit; which was a good thing considering I got this wine for me and my dad on a recommendation from a friend. This was truly enjoyable throughout, but of course you all know by now that the smell of the wine is my favourite part so let us begin there as always. Immediately upon opening this wine you are hit with these lovely subtle floral aromas (what kind I'm not sure but oh well). What comes through much more powerfully is an intense fruit smell, which I thought at the time was possibly some sort of citrus fruit. And this citrus fruit aroma brings us to the taste of the wine, which incidentally had a pleasing citrus fruit taste to it as well. Besides that, you also get a little bit of pineapple flavour to it and maybe even some honeysuckle (going with the floral aroma of course). Now as for food, the meal I had with this wine was a little unconventional for a white. Typically a dinner of steak and rosemary potatoes would call for a nice red, but this Riesling worked surprisingly well for it (and I think would go great with some spicy food or even pork). This is an absolutely amazing wine and one which you should all give a try, especially if you are a fan of Rieslings or any sort of semi-dry whites. Though honestly even if you aren't a fan of those wines, I say give it a try as it is great and well-priced.
